Bugle Bells

Last updated : October 22, 2024

I know I don’t usually offer recipes but I had to since I am completely in love with these tasty treats.

They wouldn’t be considered a “work of art” but they definitely look as good as they taste.

To say that there is a recipe for these is really stretching it but here is what you need and how to make these tasty treats that you’re going to love to eat but hate that you can’t stop…or is that just me?

Ingredients:
Bugles
almond bark
M&M’s

Directions:
Melt almond bark in a double boiler
Dip end of Bugle in almond bark
Press M&M into the bark covered end of the Bugle.
Set on wax paper or other non-stick surface such a silicone mat on a baking tray until they have hardened. If you are in a hurry you can pop them in the freezer for a few minutes or set them in the cold garage like I usually do. Gotta love winter in Minnesota!

That’s it!! So simple, so yummy. Sweet and salty all in one.

OK so when I first saw the photo of these I thought they were decorations. However, I like this idea and will try it. Yum Yum

I love these. Simple, yet elegant. And I DO consider them works of art. Very well done.

I actually stopped by to wish you a very Merry Christmas that is filled with joy and love, but also wanted to thank you for the lovely, lovely card I got today. BTW, big J looks so much like you! Gracie, not so much (Grin).

I have done another one of these snacks using the plain Bugles, piping creamy peanut butter into the bugle, then dipping in chocolate. You need a little time to do these but not too bad. They are YUM! The peanut butter is a surprise when you eat them.

A few candy sprinkles on the almond bark add a little flare!

Does it have to be almond bark? Can you use anything else? My grandson is allergic to nuts

Almond bark does not contain any nut products or traces. It gets its name from its original use. It’s safe for her!

I would not freeze these. I assume the bugles would get soggy.
