T stands for Tuesday rolls around more quickly each week it seems. Think it’s possible that our hostess Elizabeth is speeding up time? Yeah…probably not happening.
This week my Tea is not for drinking… I’m just dye-ing to show you what I’m doing. *teeheehee*
My supplies are simple…old package of 6 tea bags that I’d never drink. Scraps of linens, lace and ribbon. Glass bowl. Boiling water. And time.
Bubble, bubble toil and trouble. And now we wait…
I’m heading for a brisk morning walk with a friend.
What are you doing today?
Welcome to another edition of T stands for Tuesday hosted by Elizabeth. Grab a cup, mug or glass…sit down and stay a while.
I’ve finished my coffee and am ready to defend myself from the virus that currently has it’s hooks in Mr. G. Poor guy is wracked with chills under a pile of covers. I can’t even fathom how he can move under them…they are so heavy.
Me…well, I’m still crafting like crazy.
Sewing…
Making ornaments…
I’m feeling the deep need to make some art. The only problem is now I’ll have to dig my way to my art supplies. I piled tons of stuff on my workspace. ACK! I hate it when I do that…yet I still do it. Apparently I’m a slow learner.
What a re you doing today?
Just had to get that out there. I haven’t been around to visit hardly any of my regular haunts online. I was gone quite a bit this week though so we’ll go with that. :)When I’m home, this seems to be my point of view. Not that I’m complaining. I’ve got orders for many of my sewn items which is fantastic!
Late last evening I got a phone call from a friend asking if I’d be a part of a boutique style show right after Thanksgiving. Oh yeah…I’m in!
Today I’m really stepping up my production line. I hate to call it that since each item is one of a kind but I do work on several at the same time…production line style. Mr. G likes to tease me when I’m ironing seams…since I almost never iron our clothing.
I feel like I’m honestly making a good dent in my fabric stash. I’m sure “Grandma” Livingston would be happy to know her fabrics are continuing to be put to good even 30 years later. I love mixing the old with the new for completely unique patchwork.
No time for tea today but I figured I’d show off a cup anyway. :)
We have a local school referendum to vote on today…luckily, I vote at the same place I work out.
