As promised last Tuesday I am sharing the handmade journal I created. I was going to take a crazy number of photos of pages then edit and decided that was just way too much work!! Instead I recorded a video showing the journal page by page with some babbling narration from me.
I’m sure I am not the only one who doesn’t enjoy the sound of their own voice so listening to this over and over was a little hard for me.
Enjoy!
Nice journal Halle. Looks like a good project! Now I hope you show us your art inside the journal. Smile. Hugs-Erika
You spound exactly like you do on the phone, dear friend. I had to stop by quickly, before you had a chance to share your T Tuesday post. I’m so far behind.
That’s the ONLY good thing those Reader’s Digest books are good for. You created a fun and beautiful scrappy journal.
Two things I took away: using wallpaper to create a pocket and using lace on a specific page. I also like how you varied the sizes of the pages. This turned out fabulous! BTW, I sew my card backs to a page because I have found they don’t take paint or glue well at all.
That should read SOUND, not SPOUND.
Forgot to mention that you said you hadn’t known about Museum Day last year, so that’s why I shared it for T, too. Hope you find a museum to visit you like this year.
FANTASTIC dear Halle! WOW!
