Quite a while ago, after posting my Travels handmade book, Margaret asked me if I had an postcards from Switzerland for my collection.
Since I didn’t, we decided to do a little trade of items from our areas.
Just look at all the fun items she sent!
I’m really looking forward to using the pretty napkins.
And this postcard is an awesome addition to my collection!
It’s very Scandinavian looking…love that!
Have I mentioned that I’m 100% Norwegian!?!
Thank you so much Margaret!
They are a fun addition to my garden.
How wonderful to get items from Switzerland! Loving those bottlecap flowers!

I love your flowers Halle!
I’m relating to all things Scandanavian right now, we just sent our Swedish cousin home today after spending three weeks with her. I am 50% Norwegian. My mother was born in Hitra. Our visitor’s Norwegian grandparent moved to Sweden. She brought me some paper for collage and some very cool stamps, not all of them are from
Sweden or Norway however.
Your bottlecap flowers are pretty cute!
What a super exchange. Glad to read that you and Margaret swapped some lovely things, including that postcard.
Love those flowers. You KNOW I’m going to ask for a tutorial on how to make them, even though it looks like it would hurt my hands!
Your bottlecap flowers are so sweet! What a great addition to a potted plant. Great idea!
My aunt in NC collects postcards. I have a whole collection somewhere in a big envelope but don’t even know where it is at the moment. I thought about scanning them all and then decoupaging them to a cupboard in the kids room.
Such lovely gifts from Margaret. Enjoy! Best wishes, Tammy
I’m so happy you now have a little Swissness in your collection!
I love those bottle top flowers, what an inspired idea, might just make a few of those to fill in the bare patch where the daffs should’ve been! mx
