Welcome to another edition of T stands for Tuesday.
I’m back from a whirlwind weekend of fun with my favorite girl. Little J and I were on a Mother/Daughter retreat with a bunch of friends up in northern MN. Unlike last year, the weather cooperated this year and no one got sick! Hooray!
We did lots of outdoor activities such as horse back riding.Little J conquered her fear of heights on several stations at the high ropes course.
In addition there were crafts…
These are just her practice pieces…she must have taken the finished product to school.
We were all surprised that the ice was out on the lake this year after the brutally cold winter we experienced. Last year, this same weekend, it was still completely covered in ice.
I’m still working thru the piles of laundry that seem to come with traveling. Hopefully I’ll get my creativity back in gear then.
What are you doing today?
Good morning :) Happy Birthday!
What a great retreat, love the idea of that. You’ll have to show us the finished craft, looks interesting :) Love the sign too.
Have a great T day :)
A mother/daughter retreat sound like fun. Glad the weather cooperated for you. The leather project looks interesting.

Well let’s see. First, I’m wishing you a very happy birthday. Hope it was fun. Did you get your gift from me? Of course not! Because I haven’t even come up with an idea of what to send you (grin).
Sounds like the perfect way to celebrate a birthday. Mother/daughter retreat sounds fun. I’m glad you had a good time, and the weather cooperated, as did lack of illness.
I like your cup cozy. How clever. Thanks for sharing it, especially since it should be called your birthday T today (grin).
Thanks for sharing such intimate photos from what looks like a great mother-daughter’s weekend! I myself, will be having one next weekend with my own mother and your photos just made me even more anxious for our time together. Hugs and Happy T-Day.

“memory” :)
Looks like so much fun! beautiful scenery…and crafts too! what’s not to like? the leather craft brings back memories of when I worked at boy scout camp. Those little guys could really get messy… and some of them would dye their hands as well as their leather pieces! lol! so glad you had a nice time…
happy birthday to you Halle-hope you have a fabulous day!! Sounds like such a great trip-esp. to do a special mother/daughter one. Glad the weather cooperated so well. Happy T day!
Happy Birthday, Halle!!
I love that cup with the turquoise. Looks like a wonderful time. It is shocking at how quickly the ice and snow left when it decided it was time. Especially since it hasn’t stayed really warm for long, either. Unpredictable Mother Nature, eh?
Happy T-Day!! :)

First a belated Happy Birthday! I enjoyed doing all the things you and your girl did on the retreat. I’ll have to pull out some leather I burned a pattern into. I was also very fond of horseback riding in my younger days.
I took a break from GOT also to read a book I had on hold that came in at the library.
Happy Birthday Halle. The Retreat idea sounds fun. Happy to hear that you both had a wonderful time.
What a lovely way to spend time with your daughter! You look like you both had a great time.
