Another week that has flown by. Not sure how it happens that I don’t even touch my blog for a week at a time. That being said, I have been working on creative pursuits whenever possible. Well that’s not exactly accurate…I did waste a bunch of time one day on YouTube watching other people exploring the great outdoors when we were cooped up inside.
Getting organized has been a priority for me over the last few months. Trust me…I’m just scratching the surface. I’m sort of an organized chaos type of person. I want to change that so I’m working in baby steps.
I’ve gathered my paper scraps into this bin to make them more usable and visible.
But along with getting organized I trip myself up… I hate waste. Throwing stuff out really bothers me which is why I always seem to have a mountain of scraps.
With that in mind, I’m continuing my efforts to use scraps in creative ways. Mini-collages for cards and journal pages mostly.
Now that I have my sentiment stamps all in one spot, I have an easier time finding the words I want to use.
I wasn’t sure I was going to get this posted when I started to write, find and edit photos etc yesterday. But I guess my brain had other ideas. I woke super early this morning soI was able to sit and finish my post with my first cup of coffee before getting ready for work.
What are you doing today?
Wow, that looks like a lot of organising has been done! To new projects, then! Happy T-day.
I agree with Iris, looks like you have gotten allot accomplished. I am sorta organized but I have allot of stuff in my craft room that I can’t part with yet.
Have a good week ahead Happy T day Kathy
I love your mini-collage idea. It’s so nice to find such a lovely way to make the “scraps” useful :) Happy T Tuesday
Looks like you are getting organised! I had to show my hubby your photo of your box of scraps to show him that I’m not the only one who keeps their scraps …lol ?. I’m loving seeing that mug again too, so pretty! Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
Pleased to see I’m not the only one that keeps scraps, I’m afraid I have quite a lot more than one box but I’m trying to use them!
I love the colours on your mug.
Have a lovely week

Nice to be a bit organized like this. I have several bins of scraps and just can’t seem to throw any of it:) And yes, having stamps organized by themes and subjects makes life so much easier-esp. when one has as many as I do;) Hope you had a good day at work. Happy T day!
You are not the only one that is reluctant to throw stuff away. I have a plastic folder for each colour group full of scraps.
I love your mug. It is beautiful.
Oh my! You have done some organizing. I think you’ve done a lot. Little by little you will get it all done.
Wishing you a wonderful week,
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
As the Queen of Free, I hate waste, too. I consider a scrap smaller than the size of a penny can go in the recycle bin. Other than that, it stays. I have at least SIX boxes that size with scraps and I use them eventually in my scrappy journals.
I’m loving all your sentiment stamps. I have TWO sentiment stamps, so they don’t need to be segregated (grin). You look like you are making some great cards AND getting organized in the process.
Always love that mug, too. Thanks for sharing it and your organization with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend.
You have a nice set of containers to help you get and stay organized. And I like that orange tin that’s on your work desk. (I’m assuming you’re reusing it for storage. I love tins!) I like your mug. Happy T-Day!
You are an inspiration because that’s what I need to do. My chaos is organized but right now it has a bit more chaos than organization. Good for you to be so ambitious. Hope it was a super T day. Hugs-Erika
I love your clear (see-through) bin idea for paper scraps, Halle. I think those bins are on sale at our Walmart this month! You made great progress.
Happy T-day! Eileen xx
I’ve had to put my organising on hold for a little while! I have been using my scraps though! Great that you got to relax before work! Belated Happy T Day! Chrisx
