I had plans for today’s posts. It was going to be spectacular…tons of photos…a walk through of my latest project in process.
But then….my phone died. As in, it was no more.
I use my phone to take quick in process pictures instead of my DSLR.
Off to the store I went to have them look at it and buy a new one if need be. It wouldn’t turn on for them either so…I picked out a new one to replace my over 2.5 yr old phone which seems to be a senior citizen in the phone world. I switched from Apple to Android. This will take a little adjustment period.
Here’s a little snippet of my project. More to come…
Today after my morning coffee (reused photo) and a bite to eat, its off to volleyball tryouts for the girl. Me… I’ll be measuring all the hard surface areas of our property to determine if we can extend the edge of our driveway a bit to make room for more parking. Did I mention that I’ll be signing Mini-me up for the classroom portion of drivers ed very soon? AGH! They are growing up too fast!
Sorry about the phone, I got a new one this week, too, as my ‘old’ one went on permanent strike. Love your art project. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
Sorry to hear about your phone, it’s horrible when that happens – its happened to me in the past so I always upload my phone pictures regularly to my laptop now ?. Oh my, from your picture it looks like you perfected your acrylic pouring – how exciting! I can’t wait to see more ?. Wishing you a Happy T Day! J ?
I’m still on my first smart phone, an Android. So far, so good. I hope you like yours :)
Happy T Tuesday!
Aaahh Halle they do grow up too fast… Mine is 30… how did that happen??? Happy happy T day! Hugs! deb
so sorry about your phone but am very intrigued with your project-a hand dye?
Happy T Day Kathy
Gosh, Halle. If a cell phone is ancient at 2 1/2, that’s another reason I don’t buy one. Oh for the days of the old western Electric land line, where each phone plugged into a socket. Those days are certainly gone, just as are VCRs and cassette tapes. Really enjoyed reading about your phone concerns, because technology is great when it happens, but not so when it fails to function.
I simply adore your acrylic pour. Looks like you finally have it down to a science. Or is that an art?
And I remember when Mini-me was FOUR! It’s mind boggling.
Thanks for sharing your art peek and your recycled mug shot (ha-ha) with us for T this Tuesday.
too bad about the phone- it doesn’t sound like it lasted very long. Good luck with the new one. Looks like you’re playing around with acrylic pours and cell making. I have read into and looked at you tube vids but haven’t gotten around to trying it out out yet. Too many other projects:) Happy T day!
ooh ooh, is that an acrylic ‘pour?’ never tried it, but friends told me about it. Looks amazing and beautiful! hope to hear more about this…and Driver’s Ed? they do indeed grow up way too fast, but it will be ok. ♥ you might even like having another driver available to run errands! Happy T day!
Technology can make you feel obsolete. Who can keep up with it? I think what’s worse is that I think they make phones only to last a couple of years. Glad you’ve moved forward and like seeing your technique. Happy T day. Erika
The one photo you were able to share looks spectacular, Halle. I look forawrd to seeing more. What you said about a 2.5 year old phone being a senior citizen? Yeah. My hubby’s is less than 2 and he needs to replace it. I remember when the phone company leased out the phones because they were meant and built to last “forever.” The times they are a-changin’ ;-)
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
