I was really hoping to share a video today for T stands for Tuesday but I’m having trouble with it. Perhaps next week. Instead I’m going to share the canvas painting I did yesterday.
I’m fairly happy with how it turned out. I must admit though after I was interrupted by a phone call I had to take, my painting mojo kind of wavered. I’ll likely do another as this one has already been claimed.
After painting and a cup of green tea….
I was energized so I got to work cleaning and organizing some spaces that have been on the list for a while. No photos…bummer.
After following me around for a while Marvin was exhausted and put himself to bed in his kennel. This where I put him when he comes in before the alarm wanting to talk about things. I’m not interested in talking about things before the alarm…at all… I carry him downstairs and stick him in the kennel. He settles right in and is fine with it…and quiet until I actually get up. He may look small in here but keep in mind this is a dog kennel…not the tiny one either. Its the mid-size one.
Today is another action packed Tuesday. It’s the last Tuesday before school starts. Summer is all but over.
What are you doing today?
LOVE, LOVE those poppies – wow – wonderful! I am having a lazy day here, just keeping my nose out of mischief! Have a hppy T Day, hugs, Valerie
Gorgeous poppy painting Halle.
You should definitely take the phone off the hook and get busy again soon!
Marvin certainly does look cozy.
I have a day off from the workers and don’t quite know where to begin with trying to put things back together here.
Happy T Day oxo
School starts for me on Thursday so I am in that end of summer limbo mode. The argument in my head whether to enjoy relaxing days or do a few projects I haven’t yet got to. Then I say I should do something special, while I can…oh lordy. Anyhow, the poppies look great. I had a Marvin who liked to chat too, and I really miss him looking at Marvin. I bet they were about the same size.Loving the finished poppies too. Happy T Day-Hugs-erika
beautiful painting Halle. I bet it feels good to get the energy to tackle some cleaning and organizing-something I just can’t get in the mood for yet:) Marvin looks perfectly comfy in his spot. Happy T Day!
An awesome painting, the poppies look beautiful.
Having a lazy day here we are having a rare extremely hot day, so just being idle and relaxing.
Happy T Day.

So glad you shared this latest incarnation of your poppies. Already spoken for, huh? Seems this subject must be popular.
Whatever happened to school not starting until after Labor Day? It starts sooner and sooner each year, doesn’t it?
Thanks for sharing the poppies, your tea, wine, and adorable Marvin with us for T this Tuesday. I’ll be taking a “trying to breathe” day.
I like how your poppies turned out. It’s a gray day here, so I’m tempted to follow Marvin’s example. Happy T Tuesday!
Wow.. super that you made a canvas now with the poppies! It turned out fantastic!
The Marvin cat looks super cozy ..lol!
Happy T-Day Halle!

What a beautiful canvas. I love the deep colour of the poppies.
We have a similar problem with our cat. He comes and jumps on the bed as soon as it gets light (like 4 am!) and we are not in the mood to talk to him either. My husband is a light sleeper so we put a ‘gate’ in front of the door opening (our bedroom hasn’t got a door) and that keeps him happy until he hears us stir and then we let him in.
Happy T-Day and a good week ahead,
Lisca
Lovely poppy painting! Marvin looks so comfy and cosy in his bed :-). Wishing you a Happy T Day! J :-)
I love your poppies Halle! Marvin does look so cosy in there – I remember a cat we had who would come and try to wake us! Happy T Day! Chrisx
School started here two weeks ago :( Too darn early!!!! Marvin looks right at home there. I have a cat that tries to wake me up early by dropping toys on my face. :( Your painting is fantastic and I can see why it is spoken for already ♥♥3
This poppy painting is wonderful too! I haven’t done much mixed media work lately. I’ve been busy canning ( berries into jams and sauces) and making baby bibs and soakers :) my daughter had a baby in June!!!
Thanks for coming by on T-day and leaving me such a nice comment. This is one of those crazy weeks that keeps taking my attention in different directions. I had a lovely time with my new “art” friend.
I adore your painting and am not surprised it is already spoken for.
