December complete!
This challenge hosted by Kate has been a good one for me. I was able to stay on track and have ended up with a great keepsake from 2014.
From the start, I had the idea in my head of what I wanted the end product to look like.
After taking this photo I decided that perhaps gluing the pages together would give it more visual appeal.
And I was right… In addition, it provided stability to the binding.
I’m in love with how this looks. I don’t want to come off as patting myself on the back but I have to admit that I’m so happy that my vision of this project actually came to fruition.
Oh wow, wow, wow. Color me impressed. Simply wonderful. You have mad bookbinding skills, too, dear friend. Even the cover is perfect!
Halle! I lost track of you! I must have missed the blogpost when you said your blog was moving and then it didn’t get updated on my blog reader (feedly) so I haven’t visited lately. I’ve added your new (well, not so new anymore) blog to my blog reader, so i should stay up to date now. It looks like you have been busy — I’m off to read all of your posts!

I really admire this bookbinding. When I see hand-made books, often the bookbinding looks sloppy, but yours is attractive and functional both. I’ve never tried this, knowing how I’d likely make a mess of it, and I’m impressed with what you’ve accomplished here. :)
