Brrr…it’s a chilly one here in MN!
Good thing I have a big mug of tea!
Since I recently finished a journal I decided it was time to start a loose leaf journal. This is something I’ve wanted to do for some time but it always got put on the back burner.
I bought this small 3 -ring binder at Target from the clearance rack sometime last year. I loved the orange and polka dots.
I had added some old tip-ins…extras from long ago swaps. And there it sat…unloved…unused…until yesterday.
I grabbed a chunk of cereal box and created the first page of my polka dot journal.
I just love the words of wisdom from Yogi tea!
I’m off to run errands in the cold. I’ll be bringing a big travel mug of tea to help keep me warm. When I return I’ll be visiting the T stands for Tuesday blogs hosted by Elizabeth.

love your first page-it goes so well with your cover! Despite the cold I’ll be heading out to the post office-and then I think to AC Moore to see what’s new since I haven’t been there in over a month:) Might as well before I get stuck inside by snow or ice again. Happy T day!
I had a new journal to share this week too……..great minds eh? I went the other direction and bought one with pages sewn in.

Those polka dots look like fun, I’m quite taken by your snowman mug. Our temps are going down through the day, but as they started out in the 30sF we aren’t nearly as cold as you. Wow!

Love your journal and your first page is GREAT!!!! I have 3 old journals that just have a few empty pages in each one that I want to use up before I start a new one. A loose leaf one sounds fun…I’ll have to think on that :)

I love your first art journal page… I’m ‘into circles’ lately (well… a long ‘lately’, now that I come think of it…) I haven’t created a loose leaf journal in a long time… I love the possibilities that working on loose pages bring (like putting it under the sewing machine) but I always end up working in a (handbound) book. I will have to force myself one time to start a ‘loose leaf’ project and bind it later.
Oh how fun! I just grabbed two of these at Target last weekend! And I’ve been cutting up boxes making ATCs!!! Love the Yogi tea quote!
