I spent some time yesterday afternoon sorting and disassembling some junk jewelry I’ve collected over time. I’ve started watching a series on Netflix and wanted to be doing something productive while watching so I don’t feel quite as guilty. The previous day I sorted my stack of papers that were months and months old. I hate filing. I had a temporary job while in college to get a vet supply company’s files up to date after almost a year of them stacking invoices in a spare room. ACK!! Soured me on filing.
We are celebrating my FIL birthday today. He loves chocolate covered peanuts. Instead of doing the boring thing of just giving him a bag or two of them, I decided he needed his own treat box. You see, the kids each have a treat box at Grandpa and Grandma’s house. It’s only fair that Grandpa have his own stash as well.
Notice the embossed paper…that was a piece from our time with the neighbor’s Cuttlebug. It definitely adds some pizazz.
What a perfectly ‘sweet’ and lovely thoughtful gift Halle!
A great way to keep the nuts fresh too!
You strike me as VERY organized…you Go Girl!

Nice idea…..now, if he can just keep Gramma out of his treats!!! That would be the problem at my house!
Yep, those embossing folders are super. And your treats canister proves it, too.
Hope FIL had a wonderful day. Bet the kiddos were excited, too.
Just read Patty’s comment and laughed!!
