Our beautiful maple tree that is valiantly attempting to hang onto its leaves long after most are bare…
inspired me to create another art journal page yesterday.
I was also inspired to try some new things after watching several Journal on Monday videos by France Papillon. In some of her videos she uses a page from outside her journal just as I am…then attaches it later. This leaves you open to much wider possibilities.
Of course not being able to choose just one new technique to try…I did several. I love the added texture and dimension. The more I work on loose pages for my scrapbook journal, the more I like it. I’m not saying it will be my only way of journalling but it does provide me more freedom.
I’m linking up for the last time this month with Art Journal Journey.
That tree has such gorgeous color! I’m glad the leaves are sticking around a while. I like your pumpkin row. That’s a great idea I haven’t ever seen before. Happy Halloween!
Fantastic journal page, love the colours and style. Thanks for another lovely entry for AJJ. I mostly work on loose sheets these days. Hugs, Valerie
Very impressive color on that tree, and a beautiful entry with all those pumpkins.
The page you created is fantastic. I wish I could get that kind of texture and layering in my art, but I seem to quit too soon. Your entry is fantastic. I’ve practically given up using my used file folders, but I certainly like what you have done, and how you managed to get so much beauty in a single page!
Oh wow.. that page is just WONDERFUL Halle and your maple tree is really an exe catcher just now!
Thank you so much for another so beautiful page to Art Journal Joureny!

This is a beautiful autumn page. Our maples are all bare, and except for some brown oak leaves still hanging, its starting to look like late fall here. I caught a glimpse of that in your photo too. Hugs-Erika
So glad I came for a peep your pumpkins – your journal page is fabulous! Hugs, Chrisx
