I’m so done with Winter’s bitter cold that has been plaguing us for the past month or so. The kids have yet another day off of school. I’m glad…crazy cold temps and wind chill today. I’m afraid the school is going to have to add a day into the schedule somewhere to make up for the 3 days they have had off due to extreme cold.
So….since it was a cold day in Hell, I decided to organize. *grin*
I got all my yarn into one bin.
Fabric into another…well, the fabric that was in random boxes anyway.
And look at this…I ended up with an empty bin. It won’t remain empty for long.
I did do a tiny bit of playing with another giant puzzle while I was waiting for the washing machine to finish its cycle. It was just to darn cold to hang out down there any longer than necessary.
I found this photo when I pulled the pictures off my camera today. Little J had set up the yo-yos I had sewn yesterday into a fancy little display and photographed them. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree I guess. :)
I feel your pain. It’s cold here, too. Sally, whose hot water heater went out last Thursday and her heat quit on Friday, is finally feeling that same pain, so we went to lunch today. Of course, Sally already has a new hot water heater and her new furnace/ac will be here today (Friday). Our “feels like” numbers were similar overnight last night.
You did a fantastic job of organizing. It feels good when it’s finished, doesn’t it? And you can find everything, too. Wish I had your see-through containers. Lucky you!
Blogger is giving me fits. Can’t get on, can’t load photos. I have hit my head against the wall a few times tonight trying to get things finished and onto the world wide interweb.
Hope it warms a bit soon. Little J takes better photos than I take (grin).
Stop by my blog when you have time. I almost said and left a link to your blog for Friday’s post which was a result of a talk we had awhile back. I think you’ll get a laugh out of it.
This Arctic Blast is far reaching…they said on our news here in the Wash DC Metro area that it was colder than it is right now in Anchorage, Alaska…but still not as cold as you all are.
I salute you for organizing and an empty bin!
Very true about your artistic offspring too :)
Have a great weekend.
