Is that just a Minnesota thing? I’d have to assume the H E double hockey sticks part of it anyway. But it IS cold today. So cold, they closed school. I haven’t been out of the house since Saturday when I stocked up at the grocery store.
I’ve been crafting, cleaning and reading.
I completed the last pages in my journal which happened to be the last page of the book and the first.
I didn’t plan it that way…it just happened. All that’s left is to remove the library plastic and alter the covers.
I’m also working on completing my 2014 art calendar project. Here’s a little sneak peek.
And I couldn’t leave you today without showing my reinbeers…
I made them for my neighbor whose b-day happens to be New Year’s Eve. This is a crummy photo but I snapped it quick before we left. He told me they were too cute to drink.
What a great way to finish an AB. Very impressive.
Can’t wait to see what you did to get that calendar together. It looks complicated.
Those reindeer are SO CUTE!! How clever of you.
I was watching the news today and they said that the Minneapolis schools were all closed, but the St. Paul ones were all open. The commentators were making all kinds of remarks about that. I almost wrote something about it to you, then your post came up.
And to be truthful with you, I haven’t been out of the house this year, and part of December last year! I have been making do on supplies I have on hand. It forces me to look at my canned goods I often avoid in a whole new light. One day I made a french toast casserole. Easiest recipe I’ve ever followed, because it sits in your fridge overnight.
Hope you stay warm, because it’s sure not so here.
FUN reinbeers…you clever gull you!
They closed school here in northern VA too today.
I am getting a taste of what you must have alot with single digits and really cold windchills…our snow will stay on the ground for awhile I’m sure.
I have heard the double “hot” sticks expression or so I thought it was LOL.
Exciting to have your journal ready for your covers!
Stay warm!
