I’m linking up once again with Elizabeth for T stands for Tuesday.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. We did and everyone stayed healthy…hooray! I was worried with all the influenza and viruses around leading up to the holiday break.
I feel like I’m finally back in a creative place mentally so it was so cool that this was the tag on my Yogi tea bag today. “A relaxed mind is a creative mind.”
I find that I’m drawn to my art zone…now if I could get myself to organize it, I’d be set!
I’m continuing to plug away at the last few pages in my journal.
Playing with texture and bold color on these pages.
These pages had a more subdued feel…pastel like. Makes me think of Easter.
The words hadn’t dried completely before I closed the book. Make a joyful noise!!! got smudged. Darn pigment ink.
Well, we’ve got a birthday to celebrate today… Mini-me turns 12!! She’s getting so grown up! She is having a friend sleepover so I’m sure there will be a couple tired girls tomorrow…yikes.
What are you doing today??
You got the perfect T tag this morning. Looks like you had a good art time with your journal.

Happy Birthday to your daughter!
Are you enjoying your Mollie Makes magazines? I borrow them from the library. Some of their projects are supercute.
Have fun with your Yogi tea (love the tag!) and your journaling! And have a Happy T Day. :)
love your tea message today. Your pages are fab-I love how the white flowers pop off the bold colors of your first spread! Happy birthday to your minnie me, happy T day, and a very Happy New Year!
Happy Birthday to your daughter Halle.
I look forward to reading the Yogi Tea tags and yours is a keeper.
Beautiful colorful journal pages you’ve created!
Happy Healthy New Year to you and yours and Happy T Day too ♥

First, happy birthday to little J. I remember when she was FOUR. Time flies, doesn’t it? I hope she enjoys her birthday and sleep over. But I bet there will also be one tired mom tomorrow, too (grin).
Your art has changed so much over the years, and it is so sophisticated now. I love these pages. Gotta admit, I find pigment ink difficult, too. Seems it NEVER dries. But it still produced some beautiful pages, anyway.
Thanks for sharing your tea and journal pages with us for T this Tuesday. Is it snowing where you are? It is here, and the temps are well below freezing, sort of like in your neck of the woods.
Sounds like you had a nice Christmas! I like the red spread with flowers –nice to be back to art now, right? Happy T Day.
Love that journal Halle…and the colorful pages! thanks for sharing that tea bag tag too. Today I am trying to recover from the whirlwind visit of my kids and grand kids over Christmas. Should be doing laundry and cleaning *sigh* but instead I want to draw & paint (since my ‘art zone’ had to be cleaned up and put away to make room for guests!) I am in withdrawal! Happy New Year dear! ♥
Belated happy birthday wishes to you and your DD :D
Your pages are beautiful colours – so pretty :D
Happy New Year & T Day! :D x
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all your journal pages Halle!
I don’t know how many times I closed my journal BEFORE letting everything dry……LOL
Your tea tag has the perfect quote on it. I need to make me a sign that says that and hang it in Betsy!
Last of our T-days for 2014, thanks for stopping by my blog and always leaving such nice comments.
Happy New Year!
Love the colorful journal pages! Some inks and paints take forever to dry. I will be sewing this afternoon and probably working on lists and calendars for 2015!! Happy New Year and Happy T-Day!! :)
What a great tea bag tag, and then you illustrated your creativity beautifully :) Happy birthday to your growing girl!
Hello and Happy T Day! The flower art page is GORGEOUS! Love the white! YAY for being creative too. I like the blue page, my color and words! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your daughter, yikes a preteen for sure now. Have fun at the party and staying up late tomorrow too. That tea message is perfect.
I took girls to the mall and did some painting and cleaning, nothing too exciting.
Happy New Year!
Forgot to mention, thank you for the comment about Sam’s picture on my blog. I didn’t know if others would understand that one but it’s so perfect for him right now. He’s growing so fast and he’s the baby, lots of memories popped up for me this holiday. I am embracing the new phases as our kids are getting older and embracing these ages and thankful to be here with them and see it. Sorry to get sentimental but had to thank you and share. Hug that sweet daughter of yours big today!
