Happy Valentine’s day! We are very low key around here with holiday much like the others. Must be more of that Mid-west mentality I so often spoken about.
I was inspired to create a journal page though.
It has hidden journaling under the greeting card I recycled. I like to disguise my journal thoughts when they are more personal and private. My journals sit out where anyone can pick them up and look through.
I added our initials to the heart. Sappy, I know.
Linking up with Art Journal Journey since I just noticed the current months theme is Animals A to Z.
As always here’s a little update on the current photo a day challenge.
5. Three ….salmon patties
6. Skyline
7. Doorway ….kid toys are the best
8, Beautiful
9. Pink …my favorite color
10. On the table …small burst of creativity
Happy Tuesday!
Your journal page is really sweet. I love that you have some things hidden from view too.
Happy T Day
Oh what a happy place on your journal page! I love every little detail and the cats of course! Your added initials are clever!
Your photos are great, I like “On The Table” best :)
Thank you so much for linking such a lovely entry to my theme at Art Journal Journey!
Happy T Day too!
Rike

adorable journal page! and the western fort doorway looks very familiar…I think we have a similar toy tucked away somewhere…enjoyed the photo peek of your art space too. have a great week!
It is an adorable journal page with the sweet cats on the fence, a good idea to have something hidden that is special to yourself.
Happy T day wishes.

No, not sappy. It is Valentine’s Day so it’s ok to be a little personal. :) Hope you had a great T day and you have a happy Valentine’s Day too. Hugs-Erika
I sincerely apologize for being so late for T. I would have been by sooner, but I ate something at dinner last night that did not set well and I got very ill. I still haven’t recovered.
I adore your two cats on the fence and the not terribly sappy reference to you and your true love. It’s a darling two page spread, and it fits perfectly with Rike’s theme at Art Journal Journey. Thanks for sharing it with us and I promise I won’t peek under the fence.
I adore your photos this week. You are keeping up very well. And I thought your tea looked good, too, especially since my tummy is still churning like it was making butter. Thanks for sharing your photos and your tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear Halle.
I love your journal page – I did see it on IG but totally missed the Playmobil fort – one of my boys favourites when they were little! I think it is still around as I remember my eldest Grandson playing with it too – hope they kept it! Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
What a lovely page. Of course you keep your journaling private. Especially when the theme is ‘love’.
Your photos are great as always.
Happy Valentine’s Day and a
Belated happy T-Day,
Lisca
I missed T Tuesday this week, but I like that mug here on Valentine’s Day :) And your page is so sweet and romantic.
Born and raised in WI, I get your reference to the Midwest mentality. It’s a challenge when a Midwesterner moves elsewhere believe you me!
That’s a charming journal spread. Romantic love is supposed to be sappy ;-)
Happy Valentine’s and Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen
Very sweet pages. Best pages for Valentine’s Day. So sweet the kittens.
Greetings
Sabine
Not sure how I missed this one, so sorry that I’m so late visiting! Your Valentine’s page is beautiful and I love how you used the card to cover your personal thoughts – perfect ?. Your photos are fabulous as always, I’d love to try the salmon patties too! Wishing you a happy weekend! J ?
