Last Friday I received a nice surprise in my mailbox! A birthday gift from our lovely hostess for T stands for Tuesday.
Her post office never postmarks the postage…so weird.
Elizabeth sent me some collage fodder and a stack of her wonderful handmade paper!! Love this stuff!!! I use it in cards, mixed media, altered books/journals..pretty much everything! I haven’t tried running it through my Cuttlebug or Silhouette yet. I haven’t wanted to waste it in case it is a major failure.
In addition hidden among the sheets of handmade paper was Elizabeth’s annual Christmas tip-in.
You rock! I am not a pre-planner and hold those who do in awe.
Thirteen years!! Wowsers! I have Christmas tip-ins dating back to 2006 from Elizabeth.
I have to say that I so value the longevity and depth of friendship between the two of us. We have shared so very much over the years even though we’ve never met face to face…darn it anyway. A tumble on the stairs kept me from seeing Dr. E at the airport several years ago during a layover.
Happy T day!
Well Halle, I can truthfully say you got one of the trees that didn’t stamp well. I was working along, thinking I was stamping right, then realized I had a hump in the padding I was using. That’s what made the tree not print properly. Not sure I’ve explained it properly, but I suspect you get the drift of it, anyway.
Glad you like your birthday gift and the colors were OK. It was a sheer guess, because I wanted to stay in the pink and blue family as much as possible.
I’m glad to know you have my tip-ins dating back NINE years. It seems like yesterday, doesn’t it? I think Little J was four the first time I got a Christmas letter from you. Thanks for being such a good friend over the years and thanks for all the times you’ve called and helped with things like coding the T and Second buttons.
How nice to get a fun surprise in the mail — and nine years of trading mail? How wonderful. I love meeting my mail art pals and have met lots of them. Hope you two get to meet up.
Surprise post in the mail is always wonderful, and Elizabeth’s post is lovely, enjoy! Have a happy T day, hugs, Valerie

Wouldn’t it be fun to have tea face to face with all the T-gang???

What a wonderful collection of fun stuff :) It’s great to have connected to someone over the “NET” and remained in contact all those years. Friends are friends no matter how you’ve met or whether you’ve ever made the person to person physical contact. The bond is still there..
Happy mail indeed! I know how lovely the tip in is as I received one today – not bad timing considering the distance mine travelled! Happy T day! Chrisx
