Hello, hello! I finally made it for T stands for Tuesday! I’ve been MIA here in blogland lately but hopefully things are settling down and I can get back into my routine. Create–>photo—>blog.
I found this mug at a garage sale last week. There were actually two but I only took the one. Why the significance? We got married in the Canterbury Wedding Chapel inside the Excalibur Hotel a little over 20 yrs ago. We also attended the Fantasy Faire show while there. I just couldn’t pass up the mug.
Most of the tomatoes came from the plants I have in the ground at my in-laws house. My garden is really poor this year. Between the deer eating the tops off my beans and the squirrels snacking on the tomatoes…it’s been a little disheartening.I’m planning to make a spicy jam with these little babies. We’ll see how that turns out.
Otherwise…I have been crafting some. Listing cards in my etsy store, getting an inventory built for the craft season and finding more ways to upcycle. I’ve found that my back bothers me when I sit at my computer so I’ve been trying to stay away from it…besides I get more accomplished when not lost in cyberspace. :)
I’ve got some shopping and outside chores on my list today. The weather is supposed to turn colder tomorrow so I better get it it!!
What are you doing today?
What a shame about your garden. Those squirrels are plaguey critters!
Happy T Tuesday :)
I remember visiting the Excalibur when I was in Vegas one time. Never heard of the Faire, though.
This was definitely MY year for tomatoes. Both in pots and in the ground. My herbs thrived and for the first time, my lavender did not die days after I bought it. Seems you are not having such good luck. Sorry to read that. BTW, I hope the jam turns out good.
When is your art and craft show? I hope to get your birthday gift made before it happens. As for me, I’ll be on the computer all day, or sleeping, something I haven’t done much of lately.
Happy T Day
with school starting up I bet you’ve been busy.
Definitely being unplugged frees you up for lots of other things…
hope your back is doing better…take care missy!

So much of your post resonates with me today….from wanting to get back in my own routine of crafting, etc. right down to needing to stay off the computer a bit to accomplish something and not be so distracted! Hope you got down all you wanted to today! Happy T Day!
sadly our garden did poorly this year. However we have gotten lots of good lettuce, cucumbers and zucchini. Those tomatoes look great! How nice to have found a mug representing your own wedding memories. It certainly is difficult to get anything done when you’re on the PC and for that reason I will be hopping off shortly to get errands done so I can make some art!
Happy T Day :D I like that you found a mug that brought back fond memories for you and your harvest looks very tasty :D
I love going to Excalibur, so much fun.
Your tomatoes, minus the squirrels, look so yummy. Would love to have your recipe you intend on making.
Happy T-day
Welcome back from a little break! How sweet to have found a mug that someone else was ready to discard of that had such personal meaning for you. Those finds are a true rarity and an absolute treasure. Happy T-day!
Hello and Happy T Day! What a nice mug to remember your wedding with, so neat. Your harvest looks like ours, I swear the tomatoes triple over night. I’m hoping not to get tired of them. YAY for crafting and card making, all good things I’m sure. I have been missing on/off the last month too so nice to not be the only one. My schedule seems to be crazy this year compared to last years. We have nice weather here today too, wish it could last longer.
Thanks for sharing and have a good week!
I know what you mean about cyberspace…it occupies way too much of my time! glad you joined us though…looking forward to seeing the results of the jam!
I have a soft spot for the Arthur legends. great cup find and lovely looking ‘maters!
Great mug. Good that you snapped it up since it has meaning for you. Looks like your garden did well for you.
