Welcome to another edition of T stands for Tuesday. Today I wanted to introduce you to a new member of our family.
After having to make the tough decision to put Miss Gracie down mid- February (no I never mentioned it here) we had a hole in our lives.
We had talked about getting a kitten…or two and had been actively seeking them. Then we met Marvin at a local rescue.
He’s a curious guy. He literally stops to smell the flowers each time he walks through the living room. He is also a very big boy.
This is the loveseat…easily seats two adults. We believe he has either Norwegian Forest Cat or Maine Coon in his background. He can put his front paws and face up on the kitchen table if that helps reference his size. Hmmm…so we went from wanting a kitten to getting pretty much the biggest cat we could find.
He is such a lover though. Especially to us girls.
I was curious how he’d be with the kids headed back to school. He loved all the early morning activity such as lunch making.
Another busy Tuesday ahead…
What are you doing today?
OH, OH, OH, Halle, I am SO sorry to read about Gracie. Golly, she wasn’t that old either, was she? Either I have a knack for getting cats that live longer than most, or something, because Dog was 19 years and 8 months when he died. Bleubeard is going on 17, and Squiggles is too young to care about (about 1 1/2). My heart goes out to you, and I understand that hole in your heart. I hope Marvin turns out to be as lovable as the adoption ad suggests. He really IS a big boy, big like Bleubeard big.
So I take it you got him over spring break. He is adorable and I hope he works out with everyone gone most of the day.
Thanks for sharing your lunch and Marvin with us for T this (nearly) Tuesday.
As for me, I’ll be going with Sally for a FIFTH exam. Tuesday is an ultrasound on her heart. They are still trying to determine what is wrong with her after she got so sick last Monday. Tests every day last week, except Friday. I can’t believe all the doctors she has!
Sorry about Gracie, but glad Marvin is now taking over your lives, love seat etc – have fun with him! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

He is the sweetest!!!So glad you rescued him ♥♥♥
Oh my goodness- he is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute! I lost my cat last summer and I really want another one. Maybe soon- we shall see.
Hi. I was just going to say he looks like a Norwegian Forest Cat or Maine Coon. I’ve had both cats as Lilly is a 15 pound Maine Coon. She thinks she’s a person and is quite social. Marvin is a beautiful cat. I’m so happy for you! Pat
