Hello and welcome to another edition of T stands for Tuesday.
It’s been a pretty standard week for me…work, home and errands keep me busy. I was tasked with a project by Mini-me though. She has been playing Minecraft for 10 years now. If you’ve never heard of it, here’s a very basic explanation…it is pixel and block based building game so everything is square but check out the link if you want to know more.
She wanted to make the windows in her room look like glass blocks in Minecraft.
Out came the Silhouette portrait machine. We fudged the blocks slightly so that they would be attached for easy placement. Something you’d never notice on the final product unless I told you.
My crafty neighbor had gifted me with some white vinyl a while back, I wasn’t sure how it would work but Lord knows I kept it just in case. It actually worked perfectly!
Look at the fun shadows it creates as the sun sets.
I can’t leave without sharing a sweet photo of Marvin on Caturday Saturday.
And this is just a photo of Marvin being very helpful as Mini-me works on her classes.
I’m totally loving my new mugs with one minor issue…I usually bring a cup of coffee with me to drink on my way to work. My new mugs do not fit in the cup holder of my van. Yes, I use really mugs with open tops in the van. I’m a nut, its okay, I’m good with it.
I love your mugs. I have the same problem with my cup holder on the table between our recliners- all one piece of furniture. My mugs won’t fit! LOL Happy belated T Day.
The Young One plays Minecraft all the time. Has been building castles and other cool stuff. The window decorations are awesome. Great job, Mom! Marvin is so sweet. Happy T Day
How clever to decorate those windows. My Grandson used to play Minecraft. We saw a play version in a park on Vienna a few years ago too. Marvin looks fabulous…of course!
Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
I’ve heard of Minecraft and know some people who love it, but I’ve never played. What a cool idea for the windows!
Yes, I’ve heard of Minecraft. My grandchildren play it on their computers, but I have no idea what it is about. I’ve only hears the name being banded about. But The window decoration is very cleverly made. Well done you and your Silhouette. (I haven’t got one, wish I had)
Gorgeous photo of Marvin. You can’t go wrong adding a photo of Marvin.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
Wow, that’s so clever and the windows look fabulous! Those shadows are so cool too š. Loved seeing Marvin, he’s so sweet and I’m always amazed how big he is, he blocks out most of the computer screen …lol š±. Love your new mugs – wishing you a very happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x
P.S. I donĀ“t really know why my Hubby still shows up as my icon. Actually I changed that!
Well. ThatĀ“s my Hubby, not me, I donĀ“t look that manly… ;-)
ThatĀ“s how my T calls my town cause he always gets lost, Tetris-city (I think thatĀ“s the same, just an “older” game?).
Fun idea and ohhhhh… your Marvin is so cute!
Wow. You must be a careful, calm driver. Or your van looks… happy T-day :-)
That window was trippy. At first I thought it was part of the game. You are SO lucky to have such a great cutting machine. I’m really impressed. I’m also impressed with the way she applied the vinyl to her windows, too.
Marvin is adorable, as always. I like Mini’s keyboard, too. It’s even more colorful than mine.
Those are beautiful new mugs, but I can see why they aren’t cup holder friendly. Still, they are beautiful. Thanks for sharing your mindcraft windows, your cutting machine, Marvin’s antics, and your new mugs with us for T this almost Tuesday, dear friend.
Happy Halle Day. Happy Birthday. Happy Cinco de Mayo.
Don’t think I could navigate such precise setting and cutting of designs, so kudos to you! Marvin is so sweet.
Happy T day!
What a great idea, my GSs love minecraft but I donāt have a clue although they have tried to show me!
I wouldnāt dare have coffee without a lid on some of the roads here!!
Have a Happy T Day
Jan x
Never heard of Minecraft. I do love your mugs and yes, they don’t fit in the cup holders. Have a great evening.
That’s a cool window treatment Halle. Die cutting machines like silhouette or scan and cut are so versatile and make it fun to do these projects, don’t they? Marvin is such a sweetie in his photo. I bet he misses you being back to school versus at working from home. Have a great T day. Hugs-Erika
