I finished out my January photo a day with a couple of silly photos trying to fulfill the prompts as best I could.
30. A secret …secret chocolate stash
31. Less is more
I decided to stick with the same person for the photo a day challenge this month again.
Her prompts are mostly good and within my realm of creativity.
1. Today is… slightly warmer
2. Play badminton anyone?
3. Smell
4. Yes! The man child is 18 today…we have an adult!
As for art beyond the lens…it didn’t really happen last week. I knitted a few more rows on my hat. Contemplated a crochet hat with a new pattern I was shown along with its accompanied You Tube video. Might be able to follow along better.
I attended my first archery tournament last weekend. Mini-me was competing. I thought…”oh I’ll bring my camera and take some really cool shots” (no pun intended). Then I learned that silence is required. So no shutter noise, lens servos, etc. So all I got was this artsy shot of arrows in the staging area.
The usual Tuesday madness is in store for me.
You are doing good with your prompts. Your February prompts, mainly the badmitton one, reminds me I should take photos of my Pickle games on Wednesdays. Just started playing three weeks ago. Have you heard of it? I think it is for seniors, and is a cross between table tennis and badmitton. You play doubles on a court with paddles that resemble ping pong paddles. Happy T Day!
the photos are quite a challenge but you are doing well with the prompts.
that’s neat about the archery contest-loved the photo you were able to get.
Happy T Day Kathy
I think I liked January better, but I think you will do well with Febrary’s prompts. They look hard to me, but probably not for you. Great shot of the coffee.
Tell your son happy birthday from me. I can’t believe he was 7 when I first “met” you. Wasn’t that like three weeks ago???
Thanks for sharing your photos and your archery pic with us for T this Tuesday.
The photos all looked good and you always seem to get great shots for the prompt of the day. February’s selection seems interesting, I often wonder where folk get all the super ideas.
Happy T day wishes.

I loved seeing your amazing photos and how you interpreted the prompts ?. They always make me happy and to think that your man child is 18, I love the pancake by the way so clever! The archery tournament sounds fun and I like the colourful arrow heads that you captured ?. Wishing you a very Happy T Day! J ?
Belated happy birthday to your son from me. Was that his birthday breakfast?
Well done ou for getting all the prompts. Your archery photo is very good.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
One of my kids took archery lessons for a while. Interesting sport :) Happy T Tuesday
I’m surprised to learn about the silence during competition, but I guess it makes sense when you think about it…love your artsy shot of the arrows! happy T day!
You always have such lovely, artistic photos. I really wanted to take up archery a few years ago but life just gets busier. Maybe in retirement…
Happy Tea day,
Kate
I’ve always wanted to try archery. It’s one of those things that I thought would be cool just to do, even if I didn’t end up liking it would be good to try. Nice photos. The idea of having a prompt must really make you think a little bit to fit each challenge. I bet it’s a fun process. Happy T day and happy 18th to your man child. Hugs-Erika
Sorry to be so late, Halle, … busy week. 11 F is slightly warmer?! Oh my!!
The arrows shot is really cool. I love shallow depth of field and have tried for years to get such photos consistently. Most of the time, I fail ;-(
Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen
