It’s Tuesday again…time to have some sparkling water in my favorite glass and link up with Elizabeth for T stands for Tuesday. So what I have I been up to lately? I’ve been doing more crafting than blogging…. And more yard work than crafting. Weeding, mowing, planting and watering… But now that we’ve had over 4 inches of rain, at least I don’t have to worry about the watering.
Now on to the random crafts…Here we have scarf/necklace made from my favorite tie-dye t-shirt. I finally had to give the shirt up after discovering a huge unrepairable hole. Apparently I wasn’t ready to completely part with it…
I started this American Girl doll hat when Little J and I were at our camp. One of the little girls asked if she could have it when I was done. Well certainly, my dear. I used my cabbage dyed yarn and knitting loom.
Then, of course, more cards… I’m trying to get ahead for the Fall/Winter craft sale season.
I was going to share one more new item today but I’m thinking that it deserves it’s own post. It’s something new that I’ve never tried. I was inspired by something on YouTube. Basically to think outside the box. That’s generally how my brain works anyway.
Stop back tomorrow and see what I’m talking about. (how’s that for a teaser)
What are you doing today??
It looks to me like you’ve been getting quite a bit of crafting done–you have a lot of projects in this post. While cards are always a favorite of mine, I think that the scarf is my very favorite project from this post. What a great way to breathe new life into an old t-shirt! Happy T Day.
Busy time of year and you seem to be doing it all Missy!
What a nice way to give your fav t shirt a new life…
and good for you getting holiday cards made…they really are very nice.
I am getting lots of finger exercise playing with my new phone although I hardly really talk on it LOL.
Happy T Day

the cards are wonderful, too, but oh! that scarf/necklace! :)
You have sure been busy. Glad you gave the tee shirt new life by turning it into a scarf. Enjoyed looking at the cards, someone will certainly appreciate them when they get them in the mail.

I am impressed with all your craftyness! Love what you have done with your T shirt. You have made one little girl very happy with that cute hat, and I LOVE your collaged cards! I’m anxious to hear about what else you have come up with:) Happy T day!
Hi Halle, Happy T-day to you! Boy does it look like you have been rather busy! I too am impressed with all your craftiness and the time to do so. Turning an old t-shirt into a fun and unique scarf is a great idea. I know how hard some of those old favorites are to simply throw away!!
What a fun post. You are BUSY. Like you, I start my day in the garden before it gets too hot. The rain helps, though. LOVE those cards. Really great fun. Thanks for sharing all your crafts with us for T this Tuesday
Wow, you put me to shame, you’re so busy! Your cards are lovely, and so unusual. Lots of great crafting going on in your world. I’ll pop back tomorrow for the answer to the mystery! Chris # 14
Hello and Happy T Day! I know what you mean about the yard work, just weeded almost two weeks ago and it needs it again. The bushes still need trimmed and I don’t like yard work, lol. Sorry, just had to vent for a minute, all is good now.
YAY for craft time!! What a neat way to save your favorite shirt, mine just got a hole in it but I can’t throw it away, lol. I wear it for painting and not in public. Halle, your cards are so FUN and creative, great job!!
Oh and now I can’t wait to see what else you made, will be back tomorrow or the next day. Have a super T Day!!
LOVE the scraps on your cards! SO clever and cool, xoxo
Love your assortment of cards :) very nice and you’ll be ahead of the game!
Good idea for the t-shirt :) never tried this. Your hat looks awesome! never tried the loom either!
Hope you’re having a great Tuesday :)
That t-shirt necklace idea is awesome. Your cards are all pretty. Hope to visit you tomorrow to see what surprise craft you have
Happy T day
LOL! More crafting than blogging…and more yard work than crafting! Isn’t that the way it goes sometimes. Time flies. You are ahead of the game for Christmas cards. Yup–you have to be if you plan to sell them. Looks like you are getting tons done! Happy T-Day! :)
What a lot of work! I love the fabric on the cards, so dimensional
Late getting around for T-day, had to deal with crazy frigde, repairman and the cleanup included the whole inside, freezer and all…….ugh! Not what I had planned for today.
Love the necklace, I should do that to a couple I am having a hard time parting with.
Thanks for the visit this week.
Terrific cards…love all the fabric, stitches & lace. Cool necklace too! Knitting I’ve never learned to do, so I am always impressed when you can make an article of clothing–even for a doll! :) Happy T day…a bit late…
Gosh you have been a busy bunny :-)
I just peeked at today’s post and love it. I love those rolled roses and like you prefer them loose.
Hugs
