I picked up a new mug from the clearance rack at Menards, of all places.
One lone mug with my initial…I had to buy it.
It’s much bigger than my standard size so I’m not sure I’ll use it for coffee or tea.
Maybe I’ll use it to hold my paint brushes….
I usually keep them in a cute little pink bucket.
Hmmm….decisions.
Although, it might work better here on my desk. I’m going to leave it here for a day or two and see how I like it.
Next on the list for today is knitting group, Target and grocery shopping.
I actually have been get some projects finished while attending my knitting group.
Here are a few dish cloths to prove it. :)
And can you believe this!?! We have leaves starting to turn already. I haven’t even picked a ripe tomato yet. Our growing season was majorly shortened this year.
Alright …enough blather from me…I’ve got things to do, people to see, blogs to visit.
What are you doing today?
You could stop by the home of T stands for Tuesday for starters.
EDIT: For those of you helping me on my flower/weed identification…here she is! A sunflower!
That cup is meant for you but you ARE you going to use it for? hmmmm
Great wash cloths, they look really cushy. Did you use like an 8mm needle? Have fun today with you group and at Target, love that store!
Happy T to you
Peace~

Well of course that mug had to come home with you! I really like the graphic/font they used for the H too. I went through a knitted dishcloth phase awhile ago. Friends got them for one occasion or another. Not only did I enjoy knitting them (simple, quick) but I quite like using them to was dishes as well.

Love your volunteer Sunflower!
and I noticed some leaves turning around here too…
guess nature is as confused as we are about the weather hah!
Love your H mug … it was meant to be!
You are knitting up a storm…a lovely storm!
Happy T Day to ya

i do that same thing in using mugs i like for things other than tea/coffee. i stand pens/pencils/colored pencils in them.
i do see why you couldn’t pass up that monogramed mug. it’s a nice one.
That mug was calling to you, buy me buy me! I quite often put my paint brushes in my tea mug too…usually when there’s still tea in it!
(Lyn) Happy T Time!
I have trouble finding a big enough mug for my morning tea, LOL, so yours looks like a nice tea cup to me! Beautiful sunflower photo! Happy T Tuesday.
That is one “H” of a mug, Halle. I think it livened up your craft desk quite nicely, but I can see it works equally well on you computer desk.
I still have the fun dish clothes you gifted me with one year, but hate to use them. That’s just me being anal and not wanting to mess them up.
Gotta love your volunteer sunflower. It found the perfect home at your place. But it’s been too wet here for the leaves to turn. They think they’re in a rice paddy, and seem to be soaking up the moisture they haven’t had in two long summers.
Glad you joined in for T today.
Love the mug on your desk, and the sunflower is so bright and beautiful!
Happy T Day
Love the mug. I usually use mine to drink from until I find another new one and then the older one moves to other uses like holding pens etc. Love the changing of the leaves but we still are in the dog days of summer here. Triple digits and the sound of cicadas.
We have wild Maximillian sunflowers here. Love all kinds. Love your photos.
Perfect mug for you Halle! Your sunflower is so pretty, so the leaves are turning already? Does that mean winter is coming to an end for me and I have summer to look forward to?
Hello Halle, what a great mug, like the font on it. I like using cups like this for my sharpies and brushes too. What cute wash towels those are, great job. Hope it was a fun day for you, sounds like it would be. Leaves and the air is feeling like fall a little bit here too.
I have a sunflower just like that, would have told you if I’d met you earlier. They can grow so fast and are beautiful, ENJOY IT!
Thanks for visiting my blog and your blog seems familiar to me, must be from SOC. Will come back later and poke around to see what you made.
Happy Tuesday!
I use cups all over my apartment for pens and brushes and all sorts of art and craft supplies. Mason jars work well, too–especially for tall brushes.
Love your dishcloths. But–leaves turning already! Isn’t this crazy?!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!
Hi Halle, Happy T day. So you are another mug for a mug lol!
Yes I am keeping that last special mug in case one breaks, maybe it will be worth something if it lasts, my kids can sell it!
Love the sunflower, and our lovely ornamental cherry tree only has brown leaves, it might be dead of drought but I hope not. No red tomatoes here either sob.
Cazzy x
We found a few red leaves in our backyard yesterday, too! I was surprised; it seems too early. At least you’ll have your knitting to keep you warm when the temps drop. The washcloths look pretty, and I like the fact that each one has different colors.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Enjoy the rest of your T Tuesday!
don’t you love it when something just about jumps off the shelf into your basket? Happens to me all the time too. Found some brown leaves the other day but think it is due to the 100 degree weather despite the rain. I have seen a lot of toadstools growing around this year too due to the extra water. Green in Oklahoma at this time of year is rare/ Hope you have a great day! Vickie
Well of course you had to get the mug with the “H” on it! it does look good on your desk…beautiful dishcloths too. I have never managed to learn to knit. tried a couple of times. nope. can’t figure it out. These look like a great way to use up scraps. Love the sunflower too!
Just a flying visit for T for Tuesday – late but happy to see everyone this week… Cheers Mxx #23
Well after trying for three days to leave a comment…..I forgot what I wanted to say.
But I think My Identity plays well with WordPress now so in the future I might actually be able to comment sooner.
