I’ve been playing a bit…no real direction or purpose. Just having fun.

The first item is any ATC. I made this one day when I had inserted my foot way too far down my throat for my comfort.

The other items are in a board book. I think this board book is the closest thing to an art journal that I’ve made so far. Other than this book that I haven’t been able to bring myself to actually journal in yet.

I joined a numbers themed ATC swap on ABC.

I used pages from a Mathmatic tables book…from back in the day that you didn’t just push the button on the calculator….as the background.
I attached these pages to recycled cereal and pasta boxes for a more sturdy base.

The woman’s image came from The Commons on Flickr. What a great resource for artists! Thanks to Penny for giving our group the heads up on this one!!

I love putting words into people mouths…especially when I can get a chuckle out of it!

Since it’s so dang cold here I thought maybe a little love could warm us up! Current temp here is -15 F.

I used mica on the left side of the image…I just know someone was going to ask. :)

The couple in the photo is of my Grandpa and Grandma Hanson circa 1929.

I don’t know whats wrong with me but I keep making ATC’s. I’ve always hated working with this size.

The top one was a “happy accident”. I was playing around with embossing powders by layering them when I accidentally smudged the still molten EP. I reheated it hoping to smooth it out a bit and decided it looked kind of cool. So then I scraped the cooling but still somewhat molten EP with a credit card. I then reheated it so it would smooth out a bit. The palm tree image is mounted with 3M foam tape.

I got a chance to play a little more today…

I also have a couple of postcard size substrate with modeling paste drying on them…not sure what the plan is but it will come to me when I sit down.

For some reason I had a hard time with a child theme ATC.
I think it was because I wanted to use this image but it was so long and narrow that it was hard to work with in ATC size. Anyway, I am happy with my end result.
